Gigabyte's GA-Z77X-UD3H is an all-black ATX sized motherboard for socket LGA1155 processors that features assorted integrated graphics outputs, an mSATA SSD slot and supports two-way graphics card set ups.
The motherboard is equipped with four 1.5v DDR-3 memory slots which accommodate up to 32GB of dual channel DDR3-1600/1333/1066 memory, 4GB for 32-bit operating systems. DDR3-1600 memory is only supported with 22nm Ivy Bridge CPUs. Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) compliant enthusiast memory is supported.
Gigabyte's GA-Z77X-UD3H motherboard offers up a full range of CPU and IGP overclocking controls in the BIOS and within Windows 7 via TouchBIOS. Since BCLK overclocking is generally limited to 105MHz, we left memory settings alone and focused on the CPU multiplier.
This motherboard uses 'Driver MOSFETs' which combine the functions of a driver, high MOSFET and low MOSFET into one small power-efficient board mounted component. Judging by the total system power draw measurements, using CPU-IGP graphics is a good way to save power! At idle the system draws 80W with videocard, 30W on IGP. Likewise, CPU loaded power draw figures are 163W with VGA, 114W with IGP.
