The Dark Knight version of the GTS 250 puts a nice little twist on a card that we already love. Not only do you get all those extra software programs that ASUS add to the bundle, but you get a cooler that does a good job of keeping the temperature on the card down without the cost of more noise, too. In a perfect world this is exactly what you want, better performance in cooling and noise. |
The Asus GeForce GTS 250 put in a very impressive performance against the Point of View GeForce GTX 260 and although it was beaten using every game we used for testing the Asus GeForce GTS 250 result is impressive when you consider it is over 30% cheaper than the Point of View GeForce GTX 260. The Asus GeForce GTS 250 delivered playable performances in all of the games we tested and although it was never able to actually beat the more expensive Point of View GeForce GTX 260 this was to be expected so I recommend the Asus GeForce GTS 250.
